Curriculum

Doctoral education until now has been structured around a system of one-on-one research guidance, with each student assigned a supervisor. The Global COE Program, however, seeks to systematically equip students with diverse sport science knowledge, and will therefore require students to take advanced lecture-based courses in addition to pursuing individual research activities, which will facilitate the methodical acquirement of relevant expertise. In the second year of the program, students will be able to opt for English-only courses that allow them to gain a doctoral degree in the English language.
